Friends, we're thrilled to present a special edition of our salon featuring a resilient artist who transformed personal challenges into artistic triumph and won Season 16 of the Voice!
Thursday, July 10, join us at FAM—a salon for artists & creators in film, fashion, art, music, and media—for an intimate conversation with Maelyn, the emotive American singer who captured hearts nationwide by winning The Voice in 2019.
Born with hearing loss following childhood surgery, Maelyn found her voice through musical theater and the encouragement of others in the hearing-impaired community. At 26, she showcased a controlled, emotive delivery that earned her a debut on the Billboard 200 and the top spot on the Emerging Artists chart. From Frisco, Texas to New York City stages, Maelyn's journey embodies the power of perseverance and the universal language of music, proving how artists can transform personal obstacles into sources of strength and connection.

About Maelyn:
Maelyn is a singer-songwriter and performer who reached widespread acclaim as the season 16 winner of NBC’s The Voice with coach John Legend. Prior to the international stage, she spent her childhood in Texas training as a singer, actor, and dancer, then performed for a decade in New York City’s music and arts scene. Her unique blend of raw vulnerability, grit, and nostalgia has brought her to venues from intimate cabarets to NFL stadiums, and she’s currently crafting her debut solo project with moon records, with the first releases slated for 2025.
